WhatsApps haunt top cop Sibiya in court
Shocking Courtroom Revelations Tear Through Top Law Enforcement Official as Explosive Secret Messages Exposed

The national judicial inquiry known as the Madlanga Commission unexpectedly suspended its public proceedings until November, depriving citizens of six critical weeks of live testimony directly preceding the upcoming election.
Before pausing its hearings, the commission brought forward gravest allegations against senior law enforcement official Shadrach Sibia, who holds the second-highest position directly below the National Commissioner of Police.
Major General Nkhlamathi, the KZN police commissioner, initiated the initial public exposures detailing serious administrative wrongdoing against Shadrach Sibia.
Criminal proceedings accelerated as Shadrach Sibia entered court to face a series of charges involving the grooming of a minor, human trafficking, and rape.
The immediate courtroom battle focused entirely on the formal bail application, where the state presented evidence to justify keeping Shadrach Sibia in custody pending his main trial.
Because the human trafficking charges fall under Schedule 6 offense classifications, Shadrach Sibia carries a significantly heightened legal burden to demonstrate why he should be granted freedom.
Investigating officer Sergeant Ndlovu took the stand for the state to present direct evidence contradicting earlier testimony given by Shadrach Sibia.
Earlier in the week, Shadrach Sibia claimed that all interactions with a 16-year-old minor known as ZM were consensual and initiated by her father, Mr. M, to protect the girl from circulating explicit videos.
Sergeant Ndlovu revealed that Shadrach Sibia initiated direct communication with ZM completely without her father’s knowledge or authorization.
Court records confirmed a specific WhatsApp phone call between Shadrach Sibia and ZM lasted for approximately 51 minutes.
During these communications, Shadrach Sibia asked the 16-year-old minor whether she was sexually active and whether she was currently dating anyone.
The state presented WhatsApp messages showing Shadrach Sibia explicitly instructing ZM not to reveal their communications to any other person.
Evidence proved Shadrach Sibia told the young girl to save herself for him while soliciting explicit digital material from her.
After receiving an explicit video from ZM, Shadrach Sibia sent text messages stating he liked the video, watched it repeatedly, and demanded she send additional material.
Text records demonstrated that Shadrach Sibia repeatedly instructed the minor to delete their entire chat history to eliminate incriminating digital traces.
Sergeant Ndlovu disclosed that Shadrach Sibia transmitted explicit photos to ZM that she had never provided to him herself.
The state emphasized that high-ranking police figures like Shadrach Sibia utilize internal crime intelligence access to retrieve private photos of citizens without consent.
The court then shifted focus to a second set of criminal charges involving an 18-year-old victim identified as MC.
Shadrach Sibia previously admitted to engaging in a sexual encounter with MC in a hotel room in Sandton, but claimed the act was entirely consensual.
The state detailed how Mr. M, the father of first victim ZM, acted as an associate to Shadrach Sibia by gathering young women and securing room accommodation at the Garden Court Hotel.
Shadrach Sibia joined the group at the hotel and instructed the women to change their clothing because he was taking them to a venue called the Grand Strip Club, which he described as classy.
The young women were initially unaware of who Shadrach Sibia was before being informed of his supreme rank within national police leadership.
Shadrach Sibia paid for all food and large quantities of alcohol at the strip club before moving the gathering back to a private hotel room for further drinking.
Multiple individuals inside the hotel room became severely intoxicated, with several individuals vomiting and passing out.
The 18-year-old victim MC lost consciousness entirely due to heavy alcohol consumption inside the room.
When other members of the group exited the hotel room to seek medical help for the unconscious victim, Shadrach Sibia remained completely alone inside with MC.
The state submitted formal findings asserting that Shadrach Sibia carried out an unconsensual rape against MC while she remained completely unconscious.
Audio recordings introduced into the court record captured Bishop Mamela, a close associate of Shadrach Sibia, attempting to contact key witnesses to interfere with the prosecution.
The son of Shadrach Sibia submitted statements insisting Bishop Mamela acted independently without any instructions from the defense team.
