BREAKING NEWS : REIGER PARK BAIL JUDGMENT POSTPONED AS FOUR ACCUSED REMAIN IN CUSTODY
Surprise Evidence Leak Triggers Explosive Defense Outburst in Court as Judge Holds Back Sudden Judgment for All Four Accused

A high-stakes legal showdown erupted inside the courtroom after state prosecutors attempted to introduce a highly sensitive, undisclosed document into the official court record.
Defense counsel Mr. Gwebu immediately raised a fierce objection before the presiding magistrate after viewing the secret contents of the document brought forward by state prosecutor Advocate Masha.
Expressing intense outrage over the surprise move, Mr. Gwebu declared that the secret paperwork directly attacked the character of his client, Accused Number One.
Directly addressing the bench, Mr. Gwebu refused to remain silent, stating: “There is no application as yet. Your worship that speaks about the character of my client and it’s not something that I will tell you a blind eye. Honestly, I can’t”.
“It’s not an application. It’s made on record. It’s submissions speaks about the character of my client and I cannot turn deaf ears and blind eyes on YouTube. Honestly, I can’t”, Mr. Gwebu added.
The presiding judge immediately interrupted the defense counsel, pointing out that the bench had zero knowledge of the document’s actual contents and had not accepted it into evidence.
The judge cautioned Mr. Gwebu that delivering oral submissions on undisclosed material was entirely premature, leading Mr. Gwebu to concede: “Yes, it is premature. I agree with the court. I agree with the court”.
However, the state prosecutor defended the presentation of the document, explaining that a serious formal complaint had been raised by prison authorities regarding the behavior of Accused Number One inside the detention facility.
The prosecutor revealed that the correctional facility might take specific disciplinary steps against Accused Number One based on the complaint, noting that the state withheld a formal application to avoid prejudicing the other co-accused in the joint case.
Mr. Gwebu fired back at the prosecution, demanding to know why the state felt compelled to slide the document onto the record when no active bail application or bail conditions existed for Accused Number One.
“Yep. I’ve honestly I’ve got a problem with that document. It is made part of the record and yet I expect her not to say anything and that document speak about the character of my client”, Mr. Gwebu argued.
“Then why is the state bring that document? What is it that they are pushing that document that that document must be submitted before the court? Because as far as I know there’s no b condition in respect of my choose number one in this matter b is still pending why the state sees the need of that documents for being part of the record in this matter and we are expected to m it off”, Mr. Gwebu demanded.
The judge strictly ordered the document removed from consideration, ruling that the undisclosed complaint forms zero part of the legal record in the absence of a formal, state-filed application.
Mr. Gwebu confirmed viewing the document and explicitly stated on the record that he disputes specific portions of the state’s secret claims.
Following the intense evidentiary battle, the presiding magistrate officially addressed the status of the long-awaited bail judgments for all four co-accused figures.
The magistrate explained that initial bail proceedings for Accused Number One, Accused Number Two, and Accused Number Three were fully concluded and ready for a final judgment ruling.
However, because Accused Number Four submitted a delayed bail application at a later stage, the court determined that issuing separate judgments for co-defendants bound to the same criminal case would be a futile exercise.
The judge formally announced that the court was not ready to deliver the final bail decisions, officially postponing the joint bail judgment for all four individuals.
The magistrate locked in the official postponement date, setting the final bail judgment delivery for October 6, 2026.
The bench confirmed that all four co-accused will remain strictly detained in state custody pending the October 6 ruling.
The judge confirmed the specific prison locations for the co-accused, ordering Accused Number Four remanded to the Modderbee Correctional Centre, while Accused Number One, Accused Number Two, and Accused Number Three remain locked inside Boksburg Prison.
Ordering the co-defendants to stand down, the magistrate officially adjourned the court proceedings until the October 6 judgment date.
